YouTube stopped working for millions of people around the world. Google said there was a technical problem and told everyone their teams were working fast to fix it.

Google continues to turn the screws on free YouTube users, expanding a test that restricts access to song lyrics on YouTube Music. Users without a premium subscription have found that Google’s streaming music service only shows song lyrics a few times before demanding money.

YouTube suffered a major global outage on Tuesday, leaving users in the United States, India and several other countries unable to access videos or load the homepage.
