High temperatures will be as much as 20 degrees above normal in the Bay Area, while parts of the Central Coast could hit 80 degrees.

As the marine layer diminishes, temperatures are slated to climb into the upper 60s across most of the Bay Area and into the low 70s in interior portions of the region. That's about 10 degrees above normal for this time of year, Brayden Murdock, a meteorologist for the National Weather Service's Bay Area office, told SFGATE.
