🦌The World's Largest Wildlife Overpass is located in Colorado...and is now open for animal use!🐻 According to the Colorado Department of Transportation, the overpass "connects 39,000 acres of big game habitat (Douglas County Land Conservancy) to more than one million acres of the Pike National Forest." The $15 million project spans 6 lanes of traffic and is expected to decrease vehicle/animal crashes by 90% in the area. Prior to the overpass there was approximately one animal related accident
